  Tony works wonders. When my then-fiancé and I met with Tony, neither of us had ever gone house hunting. Like most first-time home buyers, we had an idea of what we wanted in a neighborhood and town. We had our budget and our “must haves.” We conveyed all of this to Tony.
  
  My first impression of Tony was how well he listened. He didn’t interrupt us when we said we wanted this or that in our first home. He didn’t tell us any specific communities or features in a home were impossible for us. He took the time to listen to what our “ideal” home and neighborhood meant to us.
  
  After a few of these conversations ,Tony hit the pavement and quickly came back with four homes for us to look at. If memory serves me correctly, we asked Tony on a Tuesday, and we were touring homes that same Saturday. We fell in love with the second home we saw.
  
  When we told Tony “this is it,” he went to bat for us. We felt the seller was asking too much, even considering the great location and potential for the home. We asked Tony if it was reasonable to counter the list price, and he agreed it would be wise for us to do so. At one point, the sellers said they also had “another very serious offer.” Skeptical, I asked Tony if this happens a lot, and if it does, is it typical that the seller or listing agent will bluff to sell quicker. Tony said it has happened before, but in an area like Boulder County, word would get out and no one would work with a listing agent like that moving forward. His candidness and honesty stood out throughout the entire process. After a bit more back and forth, we were able to close on our house at a price within our budget, and we couldn’t be happier!
  
  Now, I’d be doing Tony a giant disservice if I left out one important fact: Tony was helping us hunt for a home only a few months before our wedding. Needless to say, we had a lot on our plate, but owning a home together as we began married life was very important to us. Tonyunderstood this. He worked with us during our odd hours, oftentimes after we were already burnt out with wedding planning.
  
  We still have yet to host a housewarming party, but when we do, we will happily invite our friend and realtor, Tony, to share in the celebration. We couldn’t have done it without Tony.
